1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the services of Akshara Skin and Hair Clinic ("the Clinic," "we," "us," or "our"), located at 416-417, ABC-2, ABC Circle, Mota Varchha, Surat, Gujarat, you ("Patient," "you," or "your") acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Medical Services and Treatment

2.1 Scope of Services

Akshara Skin and Hair Clinic provides various cosmetic and medical treatments including but not limited to:

• Laser hair removal
• Acne and pimple treatment
• Hair loss treatment
• Anti-aging treatments
• Chemical peels
• HydraFacial treatments
• Pigmentation treatment
• Scar removal
• Other cosmetic dermatology services

2.2 Medical Consultation

All treatments are provided under the supervision of Dr. Shraddha Mavani (BHMS, PGDCC). A thorough consultation and medical history assessment will be conducted before any treatment.

2.3 Treatment Suitability

Not all treatments are suitable for every individual. The final decision on treatment suitability rests with the treating physician based on medical assessment, skin type, medical history, and other relevant factors.

3. Patient Responsibilities

3.1 Medical History Disclosure

Patients must provide complete and accurate medical history, including:

• Current medications
• Previous treatments and surgeries
• Allergies and sensitivities
• Existing medical conditions
• Pregnancy or breastfeeding status

3.2 Pre and Post Treatment Care

Patients must follow all pre-treatment and post-treatment instructions provided by the clinic. Failure to follow instructions may affect treatment results and may void any guarantees.

3.3 Appointment Punctuality

Patients are expected to arrive on time for appointments. Late arrivals may result in shortened treatment time or appointment cancellation.

4. Treatment Results and Expectations

4.1 Individual Results

Treatment results vary among individuals based on skin type, medical history, lifestyle, and adherence to treatment protocols. No guarantee is made regarding specific results.

4.2 Realistic Expectations

Before and after photos shown are for illustration purposes only and do not guarantee similar results for every patient.

4.3 Multiple Sessions

Many treatments require multiple sessions for optimal results. The number of sessions recommended will be discussed during consultation.

5. Payment Terms

5.1 Payment Methods

We accept cash, credit cards, debit cards, and UPI payments. EMI options are available for certain treatments.

5.2 Package Treatments

Package deals must be used within the specified time frame. Unused sessions may expire and are non-refundable unless otherwise specified.

5.3 Consultation Fees

Initial consultations are complimentary for new patients. Follow-up consultation fees apply as per current rates.

6. Cancellation and Refund Policy

6.1 Appointment Cancellation

Appointments can be cancelled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours notice. Same-day cancellations may incur charges.

6.2 Treatment Refunds

Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis and may be subject to:

• Medical contraindications discovered after payment
• Clinic's inability to provide the service
• Cancellation policy terms

6.3 Package Refunds

Partial refunds for unused package sessions may be available, subject to terms and conditions specific to each package.

7. Risks and Side Effects

7.1 Treatment Risks

All medical and cosmetic treatments carry some degree of risk. Common risks and side effects will be explained during consultation and informed consent will be obtained.

7.2 Allergic Reactions

Patients with known allergies must inform the clinic. Patch tests may be recommended for certain treatments.

7.3 Emergency Procedures

In case of adverse reactions, appropriate medical care will be provided. Patients may be referred to a hospital if necessary.

8. Privacy and Confidentiality

8.1 Patient Information

All patient information, medical records, and treatment details are kept strictly confidential in accordance with medical privacy laws.

8.2 Photography

Before and after photographs may be taken for medical records. Use of photographs for marketing purposes requires separate written consent.

9. Limitation of Liability

9.1 Scope of Liability

The clinic's liability is limited to the cost of the treatment provided. We are not liable for:

• Indirect or consequential damages
• Lost wages or income
• Emotional distress beyond reasonable medical complications
• Results not meeting patient expectations when within normal medical parameters

9.2 Force Majeure

The clinic is not liable for delays or cancellations due to circumstances beyond our control, including natural disasters, epidemics, or government regulations.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, images, logos, and treatment information, is the intellectual property of Akshara Skin and Hair Clinic and is protected by copyright laws.

11. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of India and the state of Gujarat. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Surat, Gujarat.

12. Modifications

The clinic reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website and communicated to patients as necessary.
